As a Mid-Level WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. You will work closely with designer and other developers to implement features, improve functionality, and ensure the overall quality of our web projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to translate design concepts into functional websites.
- Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including bugs and compatibility problems.
- Implement and manage website integrations, including third-party tools and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with WordPress best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience with WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with popular page builders and WordPress eCommerce plugins
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WordPress multisite installations.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
