We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications to ensure they meet high-quality standards. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for detail-oriented work, a keen eye for identifying bugs, and a desire to work in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance. Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans
- Perform regression, functional, and usability testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and user stories.
- Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.
- Participate in design and requirement discussions, providing feedback on potential issues or improvements.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Basic knowledge of manual testing techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools
- Good understanding of different testing types
- Ability to write and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Basic knowledge of any test automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, etc. is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes is a plus.
