About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, working with modern frameworks, databases, and WordPress core architecture. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites while ensuring best practices in accessibility, SEO, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and accessibility (WCAG 2.0+, ARIA).
- Implement Headless CMS solutions and Full Site Editing.
- Work with popular page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg blocks
- Develop and integrate WooCommerce and other e-commerce extensions.
- Utilize REST API, GraphQL, and WP-CLI for automation and integrations.
- Implement SEO best practices for better search engine ranking.
- Manage and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Use semantic HTML5 coding and best CSS/JavaScript practices.
- Develop front-end solutions with HTML, CSS and back-end technologies
- Handle WordPress multisite configurations.
- Good Knowledge of WordPress Hooks and Filters
- Ability to diagnose wordpress issues by isolating potential factors and providing resolutions.
- Use version control tools
- Collaborate with designers
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong understanding of WordPress core architecture and development.
- Proficiency in front-end programming and back-end development
- Good Knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, HTML/CSS
